What is the Event Access Ticket?
The Event Access Ticket gives you:
Access to every speaker session during the 3-day Gathering (October 23–25, 2025).
7 days of replay access after the event (through November 1, 2025).
Participation in daily live sessions (morning kickoffs + community gatherings).
Access to the community forum to connect with other bird lovers worldwide.
What’s the difference between the Event Access Ticket and the VIP Extended Access Ticket?
Event Access Ticket: Replay access for 7 days after the Gathering ends.
VIP Extended Access Ticket: 365 days of on-demand replay access (through October 26, 2026), plus exclusive extras:
Live Q&As with select keynote speakers.
Thursday & Friday Game Nights (Bird Trivia + Wingspan on Zoom).
Come back any time throughout the year to rewatch and recharge.
Is the Gathering completely online?
Yes. The Bird Migration Gathering is 100% online. You’ll log in here at the Gathering Place Portal to access all sessions, live events, and community activities.
What if I'm working during the Gathering?
You can absolutely still join us.
All of our speaker sessions and live kickoffs are recorded and available for replay, so you can watch them at any time that fits your schedule.
Each day includes live sessions at 9 a.m. and noon MDT, plus Q&As with keynote guests mid-morning and mid-afternoon (Thu & Fri).
VIPs also get access to evening Game Nights — those are live-only, but everything else is recorded for you to enjoy later.
So even if you’re working, you can still experience the full migration — just on your own time.
Every live session is recorded and available for replay.
Can’t make it at 9 a.m. or noon MDT? No problem.
You’ll have a full week to stream the talks on your own schedule — after work, on the weekend, or whenever you need a dose of inspiration.

How do I join the live sessions?
Each morning, you’ll receive a daily email with direct links to that day’s live events. You can also find the links posted here in the Gathering Place Portal under the schedule.
Will the sessions be recorded?
Yes. All sessions are recorded.
Event Access Ticket holders can watch replays for 7 days after the Gathering.
VIP Extended Access holders get 365 days of on-demand replay access.
Can I ask the speakers questions?
No. However, VIP Extended Access Ticket holders have the opportunity to participate in exclusive Live Q&A sessions:
Thursday, October 23 – Q&A with Jon Young at 2:00pm MDT
Friday, October 24 – Q&A with George Bumann at 10:00am MDT
What timezone are the live sessions in?
All live sessions are hosted in Mountain Daylight Time (UTC -06:00).
Morning Kickoff: 9:00am MDT
Midday Interactive Session: 12:00pm MDT
Evening Game Nights (VIP): 5:00pm MDT
Can I share my ticket with someone else?
Each ticket is for one participant only. Please encourage friends to register for their own ticket so they can fully join the Gathering.
