Why We Partner

Follow the Birds partners with podcasters, community leaders, and aligned organizations who want to offer their audiences a meaningful way to engage with bird migration—without pressure, performance, or hype.

The Bird Migration Gathering brings together birding, conservation, culture, and storytelling in a shared seasonal moment—inviting people to follow migration as it unfolds, across places and lives.

The Gathering We’re Building

This is a global online gathering where voices in birding, conservation, and culture come together around real migration happening now.

Expert insight, artistic expression, and cultural context are woven into a single shared invitation:

Don’t just watch birds—follow them.

Who We Love to Partner With

We partner with aligned organizations and community leaders who want to extend a thoughtful seasonal invitation to their audience.

We welcome collaborations with:

  • Birding communities and clubs

  • Eco-travel platforms and local bird guides

  • Conservation and education organizations

  • Publishers and programs amplifying nature-based learning

  • Wellness, art, or lifestyle brands aligned with care for the natural world

  • Storytellers, photographers, and influencers celebrating connection through birds

If we partner, here’s what it looks like

This is a simple, bounded collaboration.

  • Your role: Share the Gathering with your audience in a way that fits your voice
(typically 1–3 mentions via email, podcast, or community)

  • Our role: Provide a ready-to-use partner kit, clear messaging, and tracked links
(no explaining, no selling, no follow-up required from you)

  • Your benefit: Affiliate commission on Gathering passes, plus the goodwill of offering your community a meaningful seasonal experience

  • Time required: ~30–60 minutes total, spread across the promotion window

This is not a campaign. It’s an invitation you can stand behind.

How Collaboration Works

  • You share the Gathering with your audience using a tracked partner link

  • We provide clear copy, visuals, and timing guidance so nothing needs explaining

  • Your audience registers directly with us; we handle delivery and support

  • You receive commission for eligible purchases made through your link

Affiliate details

To support clear expectations, here are the practical details:

  • Commission: 50% of ticket sales made through your unique affiliate link

  • Eligible products: Event tickets and Season Pass
    (membership is not included)

  • Cookie window: 90 days from the most recent click

  • Payout timing: 30 days after the Gathering concludes
    (April 14, 2026)

Tracking links and reporting are provided once we’re set up.

Details are confirmed on a brief setup call to ensure fit and timing.

Designed to be partner-safe

We take care to protect both your audience and your reputation.

  • No urgency tactics, countdowns, or pressure framing

  • Not a funnel or sales event, the Gathering is complete as an experience

  • Live attendance is optional; replays are included

  • Quiet participation is fully valid — no posting or speaking required

  • We handle registration, delivery, and customer support

You’re extending a thoughtful invitation — not managing an event.
